So is it the author or the translation team putting these black boxes in? Because i have been seeing a lot of manga doing this recently, normally i don't care about a censor but the giant black boxes in the page are distracting as hell.
@Eridian - I want to say it's the translation team. I would hope if the author did it they would at least take the time to line up the boxes with the frame of the image cells. Some of those boxes are so off, it look like a rushed MsPaint job. And I would think the publisher would push for the whiteout censors to keep the ink cost down.
@elixir6 just looked at the raws on LHscans' site, and those giant black boxes are there too. Also, this kind of manga is most likely digital release only, so no ink costs to worry about.
@elixir6 ofc its the publisher, they release it like this so people buy the unedited paperback. i don't understand how anyone would ever think the tl would put the effort in to censor a manga, because chances are if they were to ever censor a manga in the first place they probably wouldn't translate it in general.
@beepboop1 the "proper raws" you mentioned is from nicodouga, that was why every source of raws of this is the same
yes, it is heavily censored there and its not censored by raw provider/scanlators etc
unless you guys wait for the tankoubon (if this series get one tho)
