I'm not gonna pretend that I've paying enough attention to this story to know everything that's going on, but isn't it hypocritical that she calls the enemy a weakling wielding false power when she only got stronger because of the sword?

Was it implied she also had to "learn" to use to sword? Or is it something anyone can use since MC purified it? It really does make it seem like she's preaching a message she herself is not really following, given how badly she got beaten before. Maybe if she had instead sheathed the sword to prove she had indeed grown stronger to beat him up before finishing him up...but, meh, a power boost is a power boost, regardless of how you get it. It's not like the guy was using regular weapons either and there is no such thing as fair when it comes to winning fights.
I think part of of the reason she could easily beat him this time wasn't just the new sword but that the creep is a really unusual fighter anyone (normal, discounting MC) would have a hard time countering when they first fight. She's seen his tricks and was prepared for them this time so even without the new sword she may well have beat him.
Seriously, the art is bad, the plot is simple, the sceneries are bland and the fights boring. So please, make a villain that doesn't make me want to drop this shit
