And thus a happy family was born, and considering how overprotective of Eleanor he is, this will only turn out well. I mean whether he wants to admit it or not, Eleanor seems to be the only one out of the rest of the Harem who he treats differently. Despite being a literally object, he doesn’t treat her like one. That isn’t to say he doesn’t love and appreciate the others, but when he wants to relieve himself of his sexual urges, he has no qualms with just grabbing and pulling them into the bed without question.
Eleanor on the other hand, he went through a mini arc of understanding that she felt left out and wanted him to treat her nicer. Ironically enough, the great demon sword of death, destruction, and total chaos, wanted to be cherished and treated nicely. Now they have a daughter, the two of them are going to have to shape up and be prepared to deal with the challenges that come with that. Which means no fighting, no bickering, and showing nothing but love and affection for their daughter and each other, for both her sake, and theirs as partners.
Honestly Eleanor is definitely the most developed out of the cast, and is definitely best girl, despite being a literal sword. She may be a little tsun, but despite her bite, she really does care. And the two of them clearly live each other, a bit less intimately than he does the others of course, but that’s because it’s impossible at least for now. So instead of there being a physical connection, there is more of an intimate emotional and spiritual connection. She can read his mind for gods sake, it takes a lot of trust to be willing to stay with a partner who can quite literally read your mind.
So now the hole that was the lack of a physical connection within their relationship, has been filled by their emotional connection, and by the family they’ve created with each other. God help anyone who dare try to hurt their daughter. I doubt either of them would be willing to go easy on anyone who would hurt their precious baby, Eleanor is still a mother with maternal instincts after all, and Kakeru is the strongest in the world, hurting their baby is tantamount to suicide.
And on that note, Hikari will almost certainly grow up to be one incredibly strong woman considering who her parents are. Hope they can teach her well, and avoid her causing any problems for herself.
