no it's because he tried to shaft the responsibility...sure you got brainwashed and all and it's not your fault, but do something to make up for what you did when you weren't in your right mind...instead he right away tries to shift all responsibilities by blaming eilene

think of it this way: when you drink, you lose some of your cognitive functions and that may lead you to make some stupid decisions like driving under influence...technically you are not in your right mind, but that doesn't absolve your responsibility

it's the same thing with criminals who are mentally unfit to stand trial or are mentally insane...just because they had mental issues and not in their right mind, it doesn't mean they get to walk free
