The gender bender and reincarnation adds little to the manga apart from the start of every chapter where it constantly has to remind you about it because otherwise you'd forget about it completely.

Edit: Still great yuri but like, why though? Just shut the fuck up about the MC being reincarnated they never act like their former self.
