Compared to the early chapters it really feels like the artist has just given up on drawing the artwork for this manga. What is even happening with the images of Anzu and her father on page 62?

Bitterness? I think bamboo shot has smell problem more than bitterness. It is still delicious though but I still have no idea how some people remove the smell and still taste about the same.

Anime is pretty poor compared to the manga; in the original LN though, this comes before the black tiger.
