I know you're joking, but: To remind you that she's the kind of nerd that puts high-quality optics on her airsoft rifle, and the telescopic scope has a higher magnification than the binoculars that she's using to keep an eye on the whole apartment. Keeping it attached to the rifle makes it easier to keep steady and means she won't have to worry about it losing its zero and needing recalibration if she removes and remounts it. As though that matters with an airsoft rifle.

In other news, ever since yesterday's chapter featuring Tokey Bear, I can't get the image of a brown bear singing The Next Episode out of my mind. Maybe if I make it everyone else's problem I can finally live in peace.
