Dunno why but this chapter makes sense to me on D,Guli and Ariel relationship.

Guli and Ariel is probably on same tier and D is above them, but Ariel moves independently from D while Guli takes orders from her.

I always thought that Ariel and Guli is under D.

Like you care if it blows up or not Potimas, I’m sure you would be happy to blow them all up if you get the chance.
Doesn't it blow up the whole world? I think he might still care about that, since he still lives there.

From what I remember it’s the continent, so it’s a bit less but can the world survive if this continent blows up? It will obviously be a major pain for Potimas if it happens, but getting rid of White and Ariel are equally important for him which is why he had the weapon blow up in White’s face.

I don't know, the world looks rich, but I feel it's not developed enough for the way things are now. I'm also hating the comical timing, for me it always looks off
Spoilers: it never is until the very end of the known web novel. And who the hell knows when they're going to properly develop it on the LN/manga.

That's the worst part of the series: there's a wide world implied very well throughout the story, but the author spends so much focus on the labyrinth that it becomes the most developed part of the setting, and it is barely relevant after a while, so nothing else of the world really gets to feel developed enough.

Specially with how much Kumo cares about the places in the world.

Well the labyrinth is still relevant story wise and there's a reason why the Bottom Layout had a Queen Taratect and a huge number of Earth Dragons.

Story wise :

Shun has to travel in the Great Labyrinth of Elroe to go to the Elf Village. It's where he learns the impact that had the Main Character on the World when she was known as the Labyrinth's Nightmare.

The Final Battle takes place there for reasons that are not revealed yet in the Manga.

About the Worldbuilding, the author takes great care to fully developp it in the "side characters" chapters. Shun's story is (at least at the beginning) dedicated to introduce new characters, how the world works, conflicts... all of this is even further explored with Julius's chapters. It's very rare to have in an Isekai story an arc with the PoV of a character who was actually born in the world.

The WN goes on a few chapter explanation of the world, how it got to where it is and all the big characters. From Mahoushojo Ariel's point of view

The light novel put it in a robot as well. Outside of cutting out the section focusing on the humans its been fairly faithful to the books.
did it? it's been quite a while since I read the LN, but I could swear it was just there in the LN

LN reader here. Next couple chapters are gonna be intense.
Can't wait for the deification!
WN reader here, and I gotta say I'm not enjoying the
For one, the deification happened earlier, once she found the facility on her own, and absorbed energy from it. She made up with the demon king once she woke up from it, being asked to do so by D. This is before rescuing the vampire girl.

None of this UFO nonsense (til the elf village: Pontimas attempts to escape in one at the very end, but that doesn't go far), and no temporary alliance with Pontimas. A temporary alliance with Dustin happens much later, with the intent to eliminate the elves for good.

I'll just have to hope the changes I don't like, are for a good purpose. Hopefully in the long run, its actually an improvement.

I'll tell you, if you want to know.
Some of this may not be quite right, because I only read the WN, not the LN.

Ariel is as strong as anyone can get, within the scope of system. She's been alive since it was installed, and was formerly an victim of Potimas's human experiments as well - one of many experiments to prolong his own life - that he ironically considered a failure (but he succeeded).

Guli is an actual god, and a true dragon (the ones you think are dragons, are imitations). Being a god, he is not subject to the system and its skills. True dragons always reach deification eventually. He's way stronger than Ariel can ever be, but not particularly strong as far as gods go. The dragons had waged war on humanity, after humans started using the planet's energy - thanks to Potimas's discoveries.

There was an angel on that world, Sariel, who was MUCH more powerful than the dragons, but she could only be in one place at a time. None the less, the dragons judged their losses too high, and abandoned the world, but stole its energy on the way out, thus dooming the entire world. Only Guli remained, despite being one of them. He was a younger dragon at the time, and this was not his idea. He was also in love with Sariel. And you might guess, but Ariel took her name based off Sariel.

To "save the world", Potimas built a machine that would take the energy of Sariel, convert it, and give it to the planet. Sariel - who's mission it was to guard the world - agreed to sacrifice herself. But naturally, Potimas is a rat bastard who only wanted to steal a god's energy to turn himself into a god. He never cared to save the planet, simply intending to abandon it if he became a god.

Guli wasn't willing to accept Sariel sacrificing herself, so in desperation he asked a one of the most powerful, but neutral gods, for help. One so powerful, that his people wouldn't dare to return or interfere. And 'D' agreed, because it sounded interesting. In terms of power, the difference between 'D' and Guli is like the difference between Guli and a common mouse. He's nothing in comparison.

'D' created The System from scratch, using true magic, and Sariel as the core (now you know what the system voice is). The System, unlike Pontimas's machine, can actually convert Sariel's energy into MA - the planet's life energy. But to restore the planet, and make her whole again, more energy needs to be gathered. The System is designed to promote the growth of the souls of the planet's residents, via battle. Then when they die, the excess energy is gather from their souls, and they are reborn to repeat it again and again. This planet had been cut off from the greater reincarnation circle. At the same time, it offered assistance casting magic - the system's magic isn't true magic in that sense - it's greatly simplified so that a mortal can use it. But the real purpose is... entertainment for 'D'.

Civilization having become too accustomed to MA generated power, had to quit using it as to not doom the planet (and his is what got much of it destroyed by dragons), civilization collapsed without it, thus their current fallen technological level. But all the while, Potimas never quit gathering MA for his own purposes. The reason Guli never killed him, was that he was forbidden from doing so, from interfering outside of simply being a System Administrator by 'D'.

And as for the elves - being created by Potimas - the greater truth of the world that they think they know, is simply lies convenient to Potimas. None the less, they're the enemy of the world.

Then what is Taboo? At level 10, everything I just told you flows into your head, and you could also see it as a curse. It could easily drive you mad.

And that brings us to now, and
She's just a spider, so what?!
No really. She was just a spider in the classroom, when that explosion happened.
'D' was also in the classroom, as a student.

Potimas convinced that era's human hero and demon king to cease fighting, and that the Administrators where the real enemy. One of them at the time, was rather good with dimension magic. They opened a path to the administrator. The energy wave was an attack, using MA energy. Unfortunately, they used up most of it, and the planet is again in danger of dying. The intended target was Guli, but Potimas didn't know about 'D'. That much was never enough to harm 'D'. Still she felt a tiny bit responsible, so she gathered every soul in that classroom, even the spider, and reincarnated them in that world, including giving them a special skill for outside souls to use the system.

But then what about those memories? Because it seemed interesting, 'D' implanted a modified version of her own memories in our favorite spider. Or rather the memories of "a regular girl, who is just a student". And she was right, it WAS interesting!

Shirow isn't really a spider- more so she's a clone of D with the same soul as the spider, the angels are also some sort of universal reaction to gods lazing around, and they generally go around fucking up the gods, although sariel was different because plot. D's also at some level responsible for reincarnation and the underworld somehow, she's one of the more powerful(and intelligent probably) gods out there period, hence why she can do utterly absurd shit like creating the system that overrides the normal way things work in terms of death and stuff(and ust creating the system in general- shirow is pretty darn smart as it turns out, unsurprisingly, and it takes her quite a long time to even partially understand and interface with the system, and she still can't really use it like someone actually authorized as an Administrator like D or gullie), notably d is called an "evil god" because she could actually ust restore the planet without a care if she so wanted to (also because she's not that different to shirow either, so she's pretty harsh
