For all intends and purposes, selfcest is basically incest, but worse. Since you're basically doing it with someone with the same genetic makeup as you, so whatever defects you had are 100% certain to carry on. In THIS particular case though, it would probably be less risky, since she's genetically her grandma, which would mean 2 generations worth of defects skipped. But there would still be a 1/4 chance of passing on stuff.

But, also, women can’t reproduce with each other? Tbh I’m not sure they qualify as being the same species. 😅

Whiptail lizards, an all female species of lizard. They effectively clone themselves, but because of how their chromosomes work they actually can produce some level of diversity in their offspring. So it isn't exactly perfect cloning, but it's close enough.

Considering Potimas' Terminator bullshit it's extremely obvious wtf happened on that planet. Ancient SciFi civilization declares war on god, gets wiped the fuck out. Slightly less ancient knife-ears civilization discovers lost SciFi tech, declares war on god, is about to get wiped the fuck out.
