@sketches
There's one chapter on the novel about how Soldiers taste better than bandits, and how the leaders are the tastier of all of them.

@linkhuesitos15 Interesting analysis, but I highly recommend you you to hide it behind a spoiler tag ASAP, else you end up angering the wrong kind of people.

Reduce, capture, interrogate. That's what I'm expecting. Don't kill them all please.
Thanks for the chapter.

Defending ones life is not evil and they attacked first. I wonder if she eats them after or buries them. that would show weather she has some humanity in her.

Not only that spoiler from Chuchlain, it also comes with information from "taboo skill". In short, it basically only gave her information about the past of this world.
In manga she actually take it quite mildly... in novel she was on the verge of throw up, she absolutely despise every single human of this world, and was actually thought about going on murdering spree right now, not even for exp, for the sake of murdering spree :)
Well, not only for murdering spree, but anymore than that would be major spoiler. Anyway, tl;dr, that after acquiring information from "taboo" skill, she doesn't think that dwellers of this world have any human rights, or even right to call themselves "human"

@linkhuesitos15: As VladDracul2 did, I also recommend the spoiler tag. Even though most of what you stated, should have been established by the manga itself at this point and
you maneuvered around the biggest spoiler
, your analysis kinda still contains material, that hasn't been mentioned in the manga so far.
e.g.
specifically that the sins and virtues skills munch away your personality.

Personally I really don't like where her character is going, but as she was on her own for quite some time and fought all those monsters, we didn't sympathize with, we didn't notice how her character developed. And I believe nether did she.
While her future antics continue to be cool and awesome, we will have to live with the fact, that the new insights we're about to gain into her character, are going to be hard to stomach for most readers. I believe the hot love she receives now, will cool down quite a bit. There is a reason, why the author created other hero figures parallel to her in the WN. Sadly (or good, as they aren't as interesting,) their stories haven't been compiled into manga chapters. And those are quite a lot chapters at this point, that have been skipped.

There is something I think the manga doesn't really illustrate well that is a bit more obvious in the Web Novel. The story takes place from 2 points of view, her point of view as a monster and her class mate's point of view as "The Hero".

In that context, it's more obvious that she is the villain of the story and from chapter 1 we see the logical and reasonable decision making she does that makes her the villain. From the very beginning in order to survive she has to eat one of her siblings (receiving taboo). All the murdering of monsters seems okay because she's intelligently doing so to survive(and just barely at that). On the Hero's side, he was pretty much pampered and taken care of(he even has a small harem). So her struggle to survive kind of justifies her treatment to other beings. Basically, you are food(or xp) if you can't defend your self.

But we've hit critical point now. She strong enough to thrive in the worse conditions. Most creatures now wouldn't want to fight her. So with her mentality and her new found strength, we see what makes a villain a villain.

Regardless of what she was before, she's now a giant spider monster and giant spider monsters are typically terrifying and kill things right?

I see nothing wrong with this situation (・ิω・ิ)

@linkhuesitos15 your thought about "Kumo was bad (inmoral person) even before the reincarnation" i'm not really agree with that because
Kumoko (Shiraori) was only a small spider in the classroom with D (Wakaba Hiiro)'s memories that she, Wakaba Hiiro herself infused her memories to the spider. so basically the bad person here was D, because she was the main culprit behind this a whole classroom teleportation.

that's what i remember, it's been a years(?) since i read it's web novel (forget what chapters too). and just recently i start reading it's light novel version.

linkhuesitos15 Very good analysis, well written and put together.

Thanks for the upload, this series is really good to me, shame it's only monthly, it's like crack to me. At least it's not as strong as Solo Leveling. Those withdrawal symptoms when it went from daily to weekly were awful.

D actually had nothing to do with the classroom explosion and teleportation. The whole thing happened because previous Hero and Demon Lord conspired to attack Administrators and chose Kuro/Güliedistodiez as their target, but Goddess Sariel detected it and redirected the attack on D instead. D just faked her own death and rewrited the spider's memories, she didn't kill her classmates.

Still annoyed that she instantly gave up on trying to communicate with them. If she can effortlessly massacre them she could just capture them and start trying to establish communications. Even capturing them and then clearly setting them free could be enough. smh disappionting that this went the standard route.

@DarkLordAlfie wouldn't the standard route actually be trying to communicate with them? It would for me. I for one am glad she's just using them to farm exp and learn new spells.
