The child is a far better diplomat than the old guy. And I assumed he would just make a big horizontal shield and smack it onto the ground to set them off but, sure, let's superspeed over it instead.

Azezal showing more compassion and humility than the humans. Go figure. The young king is very humble and clever for his age. Far be it for me to criticize how he deals with the mines. But wouldn't it be easier to just layer a few barriers on himself and walk-through the minefield? 😂

Thanks for the upload.

He's definitely got a sharp mind. I'm betting he had a very good mother who saw to it he was properly educated to be a statesman.

And then there's the trope about running your master plans by a five-year-old child - if they don't spot a glaring hole, then you're probably good to go.

Plot's running off stupidity again, sheesh. This writer just can't get enough stupidity, can they😅? I thought he was just gonna deploy a barrier, but actually give it a floor rather than a dome. Basically, invert the thing (or make it square shaped, you get the gist). As it gets larger and larger, it scrapes along the earth exploding the mines. He could do a city-size at a time, that we know of. It could very well be larger. Instead, he's gonna use the smarts of a toddler and run through the field, completely forgetting that mines make other mines go BOOM when they themselves go BOOM. Again, just fukn goofy😅.

I was thinking that he'd make barrier domes that he could slam down over the mines to mitigate damage when detonating them...I see now that I had overestimated his intelligence.

The slam down of a large barrier, like the one proposed by another commenter, would have probably led to a similar result as the one shown.
