I wouldn't say we've had zero progression; things have been slow and there was a long stretch of time where it felt like she pretty much had zero interest in the main dude, but I think we're at the point where she's starting to catch feelings. I do agree that her obsession with her brother has gotten very off putting though.

Yeah, I also enjoy this series when it's less so about her obsessing with brother and more so the gloomy girl slowly becoming a maiden in love and all that; so, fingers crossed for the brother fucking off back to school or something!

i think things are noticeably different in the 50ish chapter range already. so i wouldn't drop the series for a year just in case the group decides to do batch releases to catch up.

Never forget that the first 25 chapters did not involve the brother at all and she never exhibited any of this. We had actual progress with the rainstorm arc.

But it’s no exaggeration to say that literally every single chapter since the brother was introduced, has been somehow based around the brother and her feelings for the brother. This was forced onto us. And I hate it.

If the brother was the main love interest then they would be a completely different story but this is just NTR with extra steps
