Going to throw my 2 cents in here again about the direction of this manga since a previous commenter said "progress has been slow" in the relationship front. I've been reading romcoms ever since i've gotten into anime as a whole so i can tell the 2 routes where this is going. To use the campfire analogy, after rubbing that stick creating enough friction, we finally got a spark. One spark.
This manga is a classic definiton of a "Slow burn romance", if that hasnt been evident yet. We have 2 possible route.
Route 1: The author builds up this romance slowly but tastefully giving us wholesome moments while showing their walls are coming down and they're trusting one another & falling for each other. Ultimately concluding in a neat confession.
Route 2: We get the dreaded "Will they, Wont they" trope that so MANY romcoms engage in. Where we (The Audience), Other characters, Even the FMC & MC & the author can see, sense and tell that the sexual tension between them is off the chart but either "convenient" misunderstandings present themselves over and over halting any progress until the situation is resolved (often easily resolved by talking with each other but no one does it until it's the last resort), or one of the Main characters (FMC/MC) becomes a giant ovulating vagina and chickens out for no good reason (can you guess who).
I really hope the author gives us a tasteful well coordinated romance that teases us but doesnt actively insult our time and intelligence by wasting it with garbage tropes that make this manga crash and burn harder than American Airlines Flight 5342
