Author has completely lost the plot, and forgotten that his main antagonists exists. Or at least ignored the fact he wouldn't have sat by the wayside yet again while the father and jealous princess shit out inane clichéd lines... only to pop out after some side character plant the deathflag that summons the real final boss.....

The king being an absolute juggernaut was such a wild twist, even the method of his reveal.

Like, the tournament just ended so abruptly and turned into this. It actually reminds me of that one barrier master manga where the author just wiped out the entire main cast in the beginning chapters due to a sudden coup.

I used to like this one a lot so hopefully it resolves well. Iris needs more time to shine too.

1 - These Wizarc Empire insurrectionists are going against their nation's core beliefs, Emperor Wizarc lost fair and square to the king, and accepted the defeat with honor. They are actively shitting on the old emperor's grave by doing this.
2 - The insurrectionist army, is it just the Eastern corps that are under the Wizarc banner, or did they have sleeper agents in the other corps?
3 - Where did Julius go, he'd actively crush the Wizarc commanders and the princess for getting in the way of his battle lust.
4 - If MC punches the king, would he be able to learn the Hero's Strike, or would he get a dragon?
