That's a volleyball. Those are pretty light. You're not going to get knocked out by one of those, especially from that angle.
Yes, you should absolutely do that. Talking is good. Communicating solves problems.
People are heavy. Even thin people. Gaining a few kilos won't make any difference. Unless you're used to carrying people, you're probably not going to notice a 10% or maybe even a 20% difference, and that's a significant change for a person.
Quite the opposite. It's absolutely legal and very much encouraged.
Agreed. Getting hit by a volleyball wouldn't even have you dazed in the slighest.. unless someone with like near-superhuman strength hurled one directly angled towards your jaw at full speed.
In highschool like a year or two ago I attempted not a half-court.. but a
full court shot and completely missed. The ball fell and hit someone directly on top of their cranium. Was mildly horrified the moment it happened thinking I might have just injured someone.. but when I went over to check on them they seemed fine for the most part and didn't even stop walking right after it happened.
My only fear looking back on it is that is they might have suffered a mild concussion.. one which doesn't cause immediate symptoms that delays a visit to the hospital...
The moral of the story? Volleyballs falling on your head ain't gonna do shit. Also, don't attempt basketball shots from across the court like an idiot.. especially if there are people on the other side.
