I'd read chapters 1 & 2 and had dropped it because I didn't care for it. Stumbled across this again last night, reread and decided to give it another try. So depressing, but decided I'll use the rule of three, letting 1&2 set up the background. Now, chapter 3 rolls around, introduce Lily the hybrid fairy and now it looks like things will perk up. The first chapters just made me think the whole series was just going to be a bunch of sadistic jerks out to torture an innocent guy, but now that he's away from them, he's working to be a normal person.

Now we all have the common questions of "She's not naked...?" or "How in the hell was she even born?"
But i think what we SHOULD be asking if she has this much magic power, why in the hell do the fairies think its a good idea to keep bullying her? If i knew someone who could cast an orbital strike on my house at any second, best believe ima be their best friend.
