more like when he notice he was already there in the first place and then he meet mel when she was still an angel then he become a demon lord that is strong enough that he repelled the hero (which is his friend and student) that activated the system inplant in all angel that when the hero is defeated one of them that is the nearest to the demon king will kill him which end up being mel
