so im guessing he fell in love with her and was her apostle in the past but ended up becoming a demon lord for some reason(?) and since she was a god who let her lover become a demon lord maybe her memories of the events of that were wiped? dunno how the old god plays into it unless the "old god" is simply her memories intact?

i dunno, rather then being isekaid from modern day japan maybe he was isekaid from a fantasy world? that wouldnt explain how he knows about japanese names and all that though.

think there is too many loose threads in this story.
