more is probably going to be told in the next chapter but probably its something like

1. demon lord exists so old reincarnation god summons the hero through the shrine maiden
2. reincarnation god does some weird shit by summoning the creatures we saw in other chapters (probably gave the shrine maiden and hero their blessing so they have some weird power as well during this time)
3. reincarnation god gets killed by other gods and melfina gets appointed as the new god
4. shrine maiden and hero are upset about this so they form the group we've seen in the last few chapters which is trying to revive the old reincarnation god which requires a lot of people to die

Wouldn't that mean she could've also predicted Ange(and technically also Adjudicator) betraying them? If the main "mission" for Ange was to monitor Melfina, her betraying them and joining Kelvin's group would technically make that "mission" be fulfilled no?
