I had no idea what Diu Mare even referred to so I looked around a bit.

Diu should be Deity or God

Mare should be A large, dark plain, which may have the appearance of a sea, such as those on the Moon. Pulled from astrology's definition. This would attribute to the title of Eternal Darkness I guess.

I suppose Dark Slime God would make sense in a way.

Mare comes from latin "sea", and since Clotho is a slime, and slimes are water, it works.
