People love to fire the "it's so edgy" insult. I don't even see any edginess in this? So he contracted with Cthulu(?) who is kept inside the grimoire coz' Dievs wanted the MC to seal him. Then he gets a power-up from a deadly sin? Is that edgy? And chunni? This is nowhere near being as cringy as actual chunni. BTW, from the reactions, it looks like if he used the "sin" power-up, it means he's probably throwing away his "Light", meaning he chose evil over good to solve his problems.

IE: being Edgy

(an example is the current "Shield Hero" anime, where he gave into the Darkness for power because he's Edgy as shit, or "Attack on Titan"... ugh...)
