This chapter was alright but ever after Kuro scratched Coco this manga went from great to awful, such a shame for it to end this way, being as great as it was before.

EDIT: quickly re-reading some stuff, it was all this last volume that was sub-par, with the ending being terrible. I'd recommend reading volume 1 and 2 to anyone, as long as they pretend volume 3 doesn't exist and imagine the conclusion.

Honestly I gotta agree, I think everything after Kuro scratching Coco was not that good either. Felt like there was a lot of stuff that was going to happen and then it ended on this weird note, it feels rushed.

I'm very fond of this ending. Quietly, 'That' Kuro can keep protecting her. Maybe it won't be forever, but he's here for now. And I like this authors sense of wanting her to be happy; there's plenty of other stories I can read where the answer is And The Kid Ambiguously Is In A Bad Situation Forever.

I completely agree. The last volume rushed things out the door so insanely quickly. The air of mystery was completely destroyed in favor of rushing to a conclusion.
If this manga had flowed better then her rediscovery of her parents death, her "medical condition", her recovery from it, and her visit to the new town would have happened much more gradually. I really dislike how her hair being drained to white didn't get expanded upon further. Like, what does it really mean when one "loses their color"? Because from what I can tell I'm not sure it had any physical effects despite simply being colorless.
Maybe the mangaka had to rush things out due to publishing or he got tired of this project because I don't see why else they'd stomp on the gas pedal for the pacing.
