Similar mechanic to Lv999 Villager. It'll be interesting to see how she grows.

So essentially, her rise in skill level for Martial Arts is this fast because of her already being extremely experienced and having the right mindset for it. So, if I get this correctly, any Martial Arts master who gets isekai-ed there would also rise really fast.
I'm guessing that if she was to set Cooking as one of her slot skills, that she's rise real fast in that one too. Of course, she doesn't need to set it as one of her slot skills, but if we only look at it from that angle, then she also doesn't need the Martial Arts slot skill. As such, it's likely that there's a big benefit to setting one such skill as one of the slot skills other than just it being a meter of how good you are when doing something. So, maybe stat boosts per skill level, and maybe gaining some special abilities as you rise in skill level (such as ki-like stuff for Martial Arts and making it so that the food made by people with high Cooking skill level give some sorts of temporary ability/stat boosts).

Now, as for her stats getting higher, I'm not sure whether it's just due to the Martial Arts skill level (like I mentioned above) or if it's simply the same principle as the speed at which slot skills rise. For the latter, I mean it in the sense of her stats raising faster through training for now as her new body(or rather her status) gets used to her real physical capabilities and specs from the world she's from. I think it's more likely the latter, and as a result the high pace of rise in stats and Martial Arts skill level will likely slow down once she reaches a certain level, after which she'll continue to rise at her normal pace like in she did in her previous world (though that'd still be pretty fast based on what we know of her backstory so far).

@sancturil false. it is because of her abnormal mindset. in the explanation on how to level up one of the ways was to be in a situation where you are forced to put your life on the line. she is able to have that mindset with each practice swing, without the need for external stimuli. experienced martial artists and others may have a high growth as you surmised but not to her level because not everyone is batshit crazy
