The story is great, and I'm not the biggest fan of sports manga. However I really loved this, and its a huge shame it was cut short and had to be rushed.

Ok what the fuck is this? Why did it get rushed in the end? There's so many characters that have been set up just to be left out of the story in the end. From the other comments I figured it got axed so the ending is rushed. A shame.
