@spoopycat Eh I don't find it super weird at 16 because a lot of the time they wait till their 18 to actually get to together. Starting at 12 is a big yikes. Everytime something happens in their relationship, I just end up questioning my sanity for a bit.

Episodes like this are the fun "dammit, sensei, get your shit together!" type over typical rom-com mangas where I can root for relationship progress.

Yeah, it's very frustrating, a 20 year age difference doesn't really stop being creepy until the younger one is 30 if I'm being honest, but I accepted that if I was going to partake of this medium I'd have to put up with some minimum amount of pedo stuff. I'm sure it comes from Japan being a super repressed country just like the US, but in the opposite direction, and the fact they have a highly rigid hierarchical society.
