Thought it couldn't get any more degen, guess I've been proven wrong yet again 🥲

Also, i guess his brother didnt say that for no reason, considering by how degen the manga been so far, also it's established by now already that mc is a cuck 😶

Probably my best move right now would be to ignore this for a year and then get back to it and see where it goes without being jerked around chapter by chapter.

Unfortunately I'm compelled to read anything that shows up with a new chapter in my feed, so I'm just going to suffer for a while I think.

Hey, does anyone know of a manga where someone falls in love with someone who actually is a slut, and they deal with that like an adult without it being some bait and switch or an "I can fix her" plot? Because I keep getting tricked and it's annoying.

I mentioned this in the main thread a few days ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a weird twist where all these girls are some kind of succubus, vampire, or a yokai of some sort.

Those teeth aren't normal and looking back, it seems like she goes out of her way to hide them in previous chapters.
It felt odd at first, but what truly triggered my theorist senses was when the new girl appeared. I was just holding myself back from posting too much spoiler details since the last chapter (self-imposed spoiler jail).

Luna's diamond pupils, Kawashina's iris seemingly flaring up when feeling bitey, new girl's snake eyes. These are details we all probably took for granted, particularly Luna's, which actually changes size. With the MC being related to Luna, there's the possibility that he too, isn't your ordinary human, should this detail lead to fantasy elements being introduced.

Chapter 4 page 3, flat teeth, possible slip-up by the author, but compare with Luna Ch.5 p.1 or drunkenillusion!Luna Ch.5 p.20.

Also compare ch.4 p.29 teeth to ch. 5 p.29/30. That's either artistic exaggeration, or her teeth gets more prominent the more she wants to bite.

Look man, if you're going to be Ok with her being the town bicycle put some boundaries. Don't try to be close or hold affection to someone who screws around day in and out. That will not end well for you.

That reminds me, why IS nobody talking about the girls' individual exotic eye designs?

Those irises alone screams non-human. Things started normal, and there's no fantasy or monster-girls in the tags. The author's not suddenly going to reveal that Luna's a succubus all along or something, right? Unless...
Maybe it's something like an artist's style choice?
I've seen some mangas before in which the artist draws some lesser animal traits, like fangs, unusual eyes or fur-like clothing on characters to emphasize or correlate that character traits or personality while still being human, specially on relevant scenes. For sample, resident shark-girl has more prominent canines and pointier teeth when she was revealed as a biter o just about to bite MC. The new girl probably has more reptile pupils to tip readers about how "snakey" or coiling she can be.

That's the thing, we can't really tell if the detail is just stylistic choice, or an important detail staring us in the face, not at least until the author explicitly shows it to us. Remember, Luna's pupils are consistently DIAMONDS from chapter 1. How the diamond shape is supposed to express a character being "slutty", is beyond me. Heart-shaped pupils, sure, that's typical for a constantly horny character, but diamond? Assuming her pupils actually ARE diamond-shaped, that girl ain't human, at the very least.

The author's other works also don't feature exotic eye designs outside the industry standard heart marks when in ecstasy. It's your typical normal round pupils, regardless of character traits. Meaning, this isn't their go-to style to express character traits, or quirks, in this case.

It's maybe supernatural, maybe not. FMC's maybe a slut, maybe not. There's no 100% confirmation shown yet, and we'll never truly know until the author reveals the truth. But it's not out of the question that the author could suddenly throw us a curve ball, one that's right there staring at us from the very beginning.

I don't see why anyone would draw a manga like that. A novel would be one thing, but a manga?

Such a relationship would simply be a normal relationship, but with the added trait of either or both partners being promiscuous. If it's not a bait n switch, and not some plot where they want to change the other person....then there's only two conclusions. The promiscuous person stops their swinging immediately, or both partners accept the status quo and never bring it up again.

And what kind of plot would that serve for a manga? It's not even decent slice of life.

Luna's diamond pupils, Kawashima's iris seemingly flaring up when feeling bitey, new girl's snake eyes. These are details we all probably took for granted, particularly Luna's, which actually changes size. I'd say with some parts, it's possible that adding detail to the teeth at those points might not of been a priority? Since it wasn't really up close or anything, the teeth would of had to of been pretty exaggerated for them to be noticed.

I was more referring to her body language where she seems to hold her hand up to her mouth when it looks like she would be exposing her teeth (smiling, laughing, shocked).

As for the teeth showing more when she's about to bite him. It might be similar to something like a dog or shark getting ready to bite? When they get ready to bite, they'll bare their teeth.

If it does go the supernatural route, I'm wondering if the MC is just going to end up being the kind of character that attracts all different kinds of "monster girls" (for lack of a better term) because he's the best "food".

I guess it could partly explain why Kawashima was attracted to him. She does seem to be genuinely happy to find out that he's the same person from when they were kids too.

So the 1. One wants to NTR him 2. one is a crazy bitch and now we got a 3. one. All that in 5 chapters.

Edit: forgot to say that he also has a few screws loose

I can't comprehend your comment. By your logic, like 95% of the romance manga out there wouldn't exist, because they're just about some straightforward relationship. I feel like navigating things with a partner who is a slut gives plenty of opportunity for plot. Why would the topic "never be brought up again"? Have you ever been in a relationship? Do you really go, "hmm, I am fine with this, therefore will cease all conversation about it as my position is clear" about...anything? That sounds absolutely sociopathic. Why would two people closely involved with each other not ever talk about a significant part of their life?

Beyond that, there's plenty of external things. What about dealing with people who criticize their relationship? What about family acceptance? What about potential feelings of inadequacy? What about how planning things gets more complicated? There's tons that can be done with this scenario.

Meanwhile, how many stories are there that are just "it turns out this pretty girl lives next to me" and the MC just muddles through generic stuff the whole time? Those are a dime a dozen. And that's fine, because you can still make a story with that. But that's why it blows my mind that you think you couldn't with something far rarer.

Counterpoint, compare ch.4 p.3 to ch.5 p.24. It's a 2110 x 3000 pixel image, take a closer look. Roughly the same head size, but one is clearly with the sharp teeth. Then again, her shark teeth have been revealed to us by that point.

Nothing so far tells me she's actively trying to hide her chompers. Her body language look more like typical Japanese feminine actions to me. You tend to see those a lot in kabuki when the male actors have to do female roles. Perhaps she's just compensating for how much of a tomboy she was when they were kids?

Not about showing more, per se, but more of being far more pronounced, sharper even, when she's about to bite the real deal, compared to a bun that only kinda looks like the MC. But yeah, this could just be exaggerated.

Now imagine if snake-eyes here is actually the third girl in the photo. It's a complete shot in the dark, for sure. Hairstyle change can be easily explained, but the seemingly big nerfs? That's not typically what most mangaka do when comparing past to present characters. Past boing tends to be even more boing in their future appearance. If she really was the third girl, then there's a reason why she's suddenly much slimmer. That reason could be mundane, could be extraordinary, who knows?

And in the off-chance that she really was the third girl, I really don't see this manga going any further than let's say... 20~30 chapters. Author has a track record, I won't be surprised should this manga ends up the same as the others.
