I think Hebikawa's the most interesting character of the series.
But if I had my way, Otobe Moe would "get the win" with Keisuke in terms of romance.
Sadly she's no Botan, and I don't think this series will do anything unexpected when it comes to who Keisuke gets with (because I also don't think he won't get with anyone.)
But she learned a valuable lesson here, which I appreciate in general when it comes to growing up:
Don't become someone else for the sake of other people. Anyone who likes you in any capacity likes you for you.
Become the best version of yourself you can, and you'll win friends who value you in a genuine way, you'll have better success with rewarding romantic relationships, and you'll feel better about yourself all at once.
So if nothing else, I hope Moe internalizes that fact. She doesn't need to be anyone other than the spunky tomboy she is, because that's her core and her ideal.
Anyone who'd ask her to change that, isn't worth her time.
Liking someone is one thing, but she's trying to make the guy see her romantically, as a girl and potential dating partner, so I would still applaud her efforts. For me it's a bit like in that Polar Opposite chapter/episode, where Suzuki doesn't want Tani to see her in her old PE uniform while carrying toilet paper, even if that's also genuine her, because she wants to look the best for her boyfriend, also for her own satisfaction. Or the part where she realized going for a burger with Tani could be a mistake - sure, they ended up not caring about messy eating, but it's not like it's wrong to be concerned about that stuff.
Otobe is trying to look bold and sexy, and while she did go overboard in several ways (food, makeup), I think that trying to seduce a guy by changing up your look for a date is fine, as long as she doesn't try to replace her persona completely. Instead of faking dieting, it's fine to choose a more elegant food than a burger for the time. It's fine to experiment with make-up a bit, even just so she can practice doing better make-up whenever she feels like looking more girly.
She shouldn't change her personality for him, but since she can't strip and yell "Hey, I'm a woman too, see my boobs", it's not a bad strategy to make him more conscious of her, otherwise if she keeps behaving the same way as always, this dense type would never notice she has a feelings for him. He already likes her for her, but as a female friend. With Kusunoki, only after she basically flashed her boobs he started to think she might have feelings for him, and previously he started to consider her romantically only after she fell on him and pressed her boobs. I say that Otobe is right to try to make some stronger impact on him too. Brides get the best looking dress for their weddings, even if they normally wear jeans both before and after marriage.
