No worries. Read at your own pace. We intend to finish all the chapters this year (before the anime catches up hopefully) so that we're not forever behind. Our speed is very much motivation-based rn, so this is the best option for us. When (if, I suppose) you do come back, it'll mean you won't need to bear with the long wait between chapters, so that's a win

for a moment i thought i had read these chapters prior and the older chapter translation had been removed for whatever reason but then i noticed we're on the "other" adaption here. you might have done it for motivation, skipping chapters 60-65 i mean, but it still leaves an odd impression, since this arc up to this point had already been explored in the other adaption, so we just skipped chapters that "might" have been different. hope you'll catch up on them rather sooner than later, but that decision is up to you. the quality was good enough though.

Looking at ch 59, they just introduced the thread of the clinic being a potential hotbed of malice, and then decided to jump to a chapter or two after the kidnapping... hell, it's so perfectly omitted that you wouldn't even think there was one at all, lol. I get wanting to catch up a bit with the other version since we know shit's about to go down, but the choice of chapters to skip is just odd, imo. Like, if the other version didn't exist, this sudden unexplained change would be totally baffling, right? I genuinely appreciate the effort y'all put in but this just feels weird, especially since it's only 7 chapters & at least one of them covers a pretty dramatic turn of events that, when omitted, makes it seem like maomao just randomly went to a local festival or something, lol. Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing you fill the gap (it's always fun comparing both versions of the story) so thank you!

Really weird move from you, though snipers can't really complain about getting outsniped, so as long as improved morale results in improved translation I have no issues with that... but don't you dare leave the gap...

I have a hard time understanding the motivation to skip the chapters on purpose, it will only make the readers drop or skip your translations. For my part this decision means reading on aggregator sites.

Working on the chapters that the sniper has touched makes me feel ill, so I'm keeping away from those chapters until I feel well enough to go back to them, if that helps with understanding my motivation on this.
