Well, it seems that this is where the artist began to change, since the previous one, called REDICE, had to resign due to health issues at the time (and has since passed away). It's a shame, since the previous artist did manage to draw two chapters that were discarded for Vol. 6 of the manga, as it would have been jarring to have the drawing style change drastically in the middle of the volume. Even so, I like the new artist's drawings, but I can't help feeling that the drawings and the characters' expressions are cuter, so to speak. Just look at Suzuki's death in the first version and you'll see that the expressions are more in keeping with the moment and don't seem as flat as they do here, although it's a change that was sadly inevitable due to the previous artist's health issues.
