He's the fine example of "sometimes it takes a man to be best girl", now they formed the Jirai Kei gang! I think our office worker needs some vacations or a healing break with his fav because the atmosphere in the office is becoming unbearable. Btw, the "exhauisted" of the first page doesn't need an "i".

Hold that thought. That "aunt" sounded to me a bit like "mama" in some queer communities. As in, the senior queer who introduces and mentor others into the community. And that facemask could easily cover a stubble.
it'd be amusing if they were a future client lol, although while their age is hidden i don't think there'd be any need for the artist to go outta their way to hide the gender from the audience but either way, oh to have a wealthy aunt/relative that can treat you (if anything i'd also expect a 'handsome' aunt to be those Female Prince archetypes too lol) tho other than maybe a coworker idk if we've seen too many female charas, be amusing if one of his own coworkers were also crossdressers all along

I know in Japanese you might call an older unrelated person uncle or aunt, but I've never heard of the opposite, calling a younger unrelated person nephew/niece. I could be wrong but I think the last panel is revealing that that's literally his aunt.

last summer when i went to japan to stay at my grandma's house, i told my relatives i wanted to go clothes shopping. one of my aunts recommended i go to a youth clothing store nearby (i am a youth) which turned out to be an Avail store. Avail also happens to be a sub-label/brand of Shimamura Group, along with Shimamura. Avail and Shimamura announce collabs with various intelllectual properties like several times a week. the only reason i remembered them before going to the store was because i kept seeing them on anime collab news sites like this several times. the rate at which they chug out lifestyle goods scares me tbh.
anyhow at that specific Avail store, they did have a lineup of jirai kei stuff along with other alternative fashion clothes. i remember seeing ryousangata, tenshi kaiwai, and emo-ish stuff that was labeled with the vague-sounding サブカル ("sabukaru", subculture). some of the jirai kei and ryousangata ones were collabs with fashion influencers who dressed in those ways. there were also thick-soled shoes, like chunky sneakers and accessorized platform mary janes like the ones seen in this chapter.
now you may be wondering, did i but anything? yeah, i bought mostly cinnamonroll/x hatsune miku stuff. a lot of it was from the clearance section, probably because there werent a lot of people my size coming to this store.

ABSOLUTELY PEAK FASHION I LOVE THEIR OUTFITS!
Wish I had the money for them...

being able to sew aside i wouldn't be surprised if there were some thrift store stuff that might look decent lol but yeah i imagine modern day gothic lolita or jirai kei stuff would be overpriced b/c of capitalism. or the reverse like "it's not as popular so we have to charge more to make up for the diff/make a profit"
