interesting how black friday is international but other than those sneaker-head collectibles i'd hope sneakers would be cheaper than the 'dress/business shoes' lol

I do like multi palette eyeshadow but never used the ones with 'glitter/counter/highlights' lol

And i never rly used brushes versus qtips unless the eyeshadow comes with a brush itself but i never rly bought a separate one or those 'beauty sponges' or so lol tho i'm prolly not as hardcore about makeup as hikaru (tho as an asian you don't need a lot with smaller lids lol)

I'm a total sucker for black friday when it comes to video games and figures. I totally get them..... I totally do..... You also get collectable or limited time items so when you get the chance is when you want to get TWO. Speaking of which, I need to get two figures soon.....

It's the Black Friday sales on electronics that have timers or a unit counter that usually get me. I don't need a new tablet, but that's a good deal and there's only 10 left...

Guess it depends, i know liner is popular and i don't mind liquid liner but would prefer a dark brown or green versus fully black to not look too edgy/goth but sometimes it's cheaper to get a 4-5 palette (one dollar store i go to has a 16 color palette even tho some colors i don't rly use til the main ones run out), versus a single bottle/pencil of just liner, esp the 'pencil' liner w/o a sharpener or something that's just a tip or just ends up running out/if it breaks off then you can't use it anymore (i've seen some like gel tip that feels like it wouldn't last a week if you use it daily) but yeah other than an exclusive color or high quality brand i'm fine with dollar store stuff

tho i did get some hello kitty stuff like this cinnamoroll macaron lip balm (don't care for peach but i didn't look at the label, shame i don't make my owns bc i'm sure the container could be reused if you wanted to)

Ah they got the watered down Black Friday that we got in the US now. 20% off sale? Nah man. We used to kill each other for 60% off a washing machine. Truly we have fallen as a country

He’s right… sales are “saved money” only if you were already going to buy the things even at the original price. Otherwise, it’s purely extra spending. XD

Like, if you have to choose between bananas a 1$ per lb, or 0.69$… buying the second is saving 31 cents.
I you walk next to fancy cheese you never eat, and buy it cause it‘s 50% off at 5$ instead of 10$, then you just spent 5$ more than you had budgeted… and didn’t actually save anything.

Also, TBF, there’s nothing wrong with buying fancy things you never usually get to buy when they are on sales… but it’s when you feel pressured to do it that it’s bad. It’s a very fine line between taking advantage of sales, and sales taking advantage of you.

Black Friday in the US was indeed the day after Thanksgiving with one day of crazy sales. But the inevitable happened and greedy companies started having pre Black Friday sales, then Black Friday was all of Thanksgiving weekend then there was Early Black Friday which could be any time in November and then at that point it just spread out to be the whole damn month. And they didn't stop there, now 'Black Friday' is just any sale they want you to think is special (but isn't). I got crap advertising 'It's Black Friday in July!' from more than one evil corporate store this year.

And the deals are nothing special any more. So basically Black Friday is just a meaningless marketing phrase that means nothing except 'come buy some shit to boost our profits!' like Christmas except you don't even get any days off work.

yeah apparently they have some 'cleanser' from the creme shop, i did like their rice water+green tea one but idk if i'd necessarily buy it with the price (tho korean brand so hopefully they wouldn't half ass it on the skincare lol) since i just use basic cleansers/don't need a ton of skin products

Got a 2 in one balm, cheeks wise it's surprisingly pink/don't use blush much but it's fairly smooth on lips and smells really good, the YT shorts/review vids seems fun too assuming they aren't sponsored/paid lol, not that a brand as big as hello kitty needs it

shame they didn't show it on their face, i know an arm swatch is common but i think my eyelid skin color is a bit darker than my forearm but it does look quite pigmented like that one comment says (tho i didn't buy the macaron balm for the color versus smoothness [tho given how popular hello kitty is wouldn't be surprised if there was knock off makeup or just some half assed stuff where it's the same thing but just with the outside design but i guess if ur a collector ppl can have it for display when you finish it and don't wanna throw it away])
