Please add my "thank you for the translations!" to the pile! This series is too cute to languish in paid manga app hell and your translation and typesetting have been pretty good!

Unrelated, but I first heard "donmai" in one of the Gaki no Tsukai batsu games. The police one, where Jimmy Onishi is taking a call regarding "DV" (domestic violence) and thinks it means "domain Vatican" for whatever reason.

maybe i've read too much yuri but sakura seems like she'd have a gf rather than bf XD; or maybe bi. other than the stereotypical 'girltalk' i'd think maybe one person who's all 'boycrazy' and gossiping might be overcompensating or willing to date a girl if she's 'charmed' by a tomboyish female prince type XD

This chapter reminds me of how my wife's little sister was losing her mind at the idea of us being a couple.

Not sure why, but she could not comprehend the idea of her not being married before her older sister (their relationship was nuts lol).

Now she's rubbing it in that she'll have a shorter engagement period than us (I dated my wife for 5 months, married after 11. Sister and her fiancé dated for 4 months and are aiming for 9 months lol)

I'm starting to think that a lot of women obsess over this when only in the presense of women lol.
Correct. It's called intra-sexual competition and it happens a lot more often between women (even sisters to a lesser extent) when fighting over resources (marriageable men and status). Your sister-in-law is expressing that in one of the more irrational ways.

When women cajole other women to cut their hair short, it's one of the oldest tactics because men generally prefer women with long hair.
