Y'know, I know that Yuri is just doing her job as a manager and looking out for Yuu's career and well-being, but like.... Does she have to be such a bitch about it? She was acting like he was going out of his way to interact with Yuu with ulterior motives rather than just being a nice, friendly and courteous person. Yuri really comes across as a man-hater to me, which is not fair to either Shun or Yuu.

It would be more fair to call her a stick-in-the-mud or prim and proper. I'm sure they have parental feelings towards yuu as their manager, which could lead to them doing "the things that must be done regardless of it being nice or not." From my POV, I see it as her doing her job and went to shun's apartment expecting to meet a shady person with ulterior motives then got surprised that he's a chill dude. Which doesn't matter in the end cause romance could still hinder Yuu's career.

The problem with your argument is on the second page of this chapter. Yuri says that romance isn't a bad thing, so she is clearly not against Yuu having a romantic interest even at this point in her career. She just doesn't want Yuu to get tricked by a playboy (like her co-star apparently is). Shun is clearly not a playboy and also clearly has no ulterior motives since he was getting along normally with her before he ever know she was an actress. I believe that Yuri is being harsh on Shun because he is just a normal guy who she likely considers to be 'not good enough' for an actress and celebrity like Yuu. Additionally, because he's not an attractive male celebrity, he's not a marketable face for Yuu's career.

Like I said, I know she's just doing her job, but it feels more meddlesome than actually beneficial, and it is locking Yuu out of a possible healthy romance because Yuri is biased.
