what an asshole of a girl. stealing that first karaage? fine, it can slide. stealing the  entire lunchbox afterwards? nah, fuck that shit. and forget making her a lunchbox the next day, at the very least she should be covering the cost of ordering a meal of similar (or, frankly, even higher) quality to make up for eating his lunch.
"being cute" doesn't entitle her to act with the audacity of a 5-year-old.

It has to do with traditional Asian mindset. Aside from professional chefs, men were told to not step into the kitchen as cooking is the women's job. Of course, society changed and a lot of men cook now, but the mindset is still there.
Also, most Japanese single men just bought something from the convenience store or eat at the cafetería since making a bento is very time-consuming. What the MC does is kind of unusual and as shy as he is, he doesn't want to get questioned by his coworkers. Either being praised or being teased, it would just be hell for an extremely shy introvert.

I have no problem with the shy MC, but the female lead is annoying. I don't know what the author thinks but no adult would act like that, especially when she is the face of the company and has an image to keep.
