Fuuko kickstarted the cheating but they definitely had problems before... besides, if we go this route, we'll see it's a domino effect so who gets the ultimate blame? Fuuko for pursuing Yuni despite knowing she has a girlfriend? Yuni for those posts that lead to Fuuko finding her? Nananse for neglecting Yuni which caused her to seek an outlet for her immense loneliness? Nanase for not noticing the effect her prioritizing Volleyball and hiding their relationship which lead Yuni to creating the post? Yuni for never voicing her feelings? Yuni's mom for not paying enough attention to her growing up and unintentionally making Yuni feel like sharing her feelings of loneliness would just make her a burden?

It's Yuni's fault for cheating. Fuuko did nothing wrong. Nanase should get with her volleyball friend because Yuni treats her like shit.

That's if you're seeing the cheating as the sole problem but for me, it isn't. Yuni and Nanase had a troubled relationship which led to the cheating. I think it's a domino effect. One action led to another. Yes, Yuni is mostly to blame. To say Fuuko did nothing wrong is also a stretch? She knowingly pursued a lonely girl in a relationship, essentially preying on Yuni's vulnerabilities in order to assert herself in Yuni's life. Nanase, I'd say, treats Yuni like shit too by constantly disregarding her girlfriend and putting her on the bottom of her priority scale. Have we forgotten she forgot their 6 month anniversary? How she barely interacted with her in public and always chose to hang out with her volleyball friends instead of making time for her girlfriend?

Yes Nanase has a reason for that. As the author has so clearly and beautifully depicted, they all have reasons and motivations for their behaviors. It's what makes them so flawed and beautiful.

But I understand some people have tunnel vision when it comes to playing the blame game.

Honestly the situation might not be as bad as it looks. This is probably the closest Yuni has come to realize why she is miserable all the time. She hates to play pretend yet it's all she been doing for 30 chapters. And now she even has to play pretend in front of the entire crowd lol.

I'd bet my 2 cents that Fuuko acting the way she does is just mega coping with being rejected over and over again. Have no idea what Nanase's motivations are though.

So much of this. It feels like some people forgot the games of manipulation Fuuko played on (mostly) Yuni - asserting that Yuni is innocent for kissing her after she got her piercing, for forcing her into a date in Osaka so Yuni could (not really) watch Nanase play, for very clearly planning out the reveal of the cheating towards Nanase, deliberately telling her the star-moon story, then making Yuni put and keep on the moon ear piercing, to bringing them to the gaming café where the piercing and the first cheating actually happened, breaking Yuni down so she'd grab and hold onto her as she blamed Nanase, etc.

I'm not saying I dislike her btw. She's a wonderfully written character.

she can't read your mind dear if there are problems you communicate them, the cheating didn't improve your relationship it brought previously flaws you don't acknowledge to light which made things look better on the surface, like miscommunication putting in more effort, but the cheating will always weigh on it, and thanks to the cheating ya don't love your girlfriend nearly as much
