And now apparently it's confirmed she's refusing to even consider that she's gay and in romantic love with Nanase?

Kinda loses my respect there, if I'm honest. If she owned it and was honestly jealous, I could understand, but not even being willing to entertain that reality? Makes her more two-faced than she's already being, and risks hurting Nanase all the more who is looking for romantic love and not "just a bestie".

I like the perspective from Yuki on some of the events and a refresher on why Nanase has given Yuni plenty of reason to be frustrated with her. Girl seems like she's lost interest in pursuing her romantically too.

I hope this series goes on long enough that we see Nanase & Yuki "dating" except Yuki still just says they're best friends. She occasionally doles out affection and sex to keep Nanase hooked, but Nanase eventually cheats with Mashiro's ex's mom or whatever layer of insanity things are on by then.

Nanase getting with Fuuko's mom would be wild given that's a rich family and they all seemed rather snobbish and uptight. Unless you meant a different ex of Mashiro, which I don't know if we've met one yet (explicitly anyway).

But I do hope that Nanase and Yuki end up together, if only because they deserve one another. I really think Yuni & Nanase's days are numbered as a couple; hopefully we get some situation where Nanase cheats on Yuni before they do break up, and that Yuki does it in an aggressive fashion that strains their bestie relationship in the process and forces Nanase to take a good look at herself and what she's been doing this whole time.

Especially since Yuni will need to focus on what Fuuko's going through and the Mashiro Mess, and she won't have time for Nanase if that's to be handled with the appropriate amount of time and energy.

Nanase doesn’t need physical action to prove she can cheat because she already did it in a “thought affair” way.

Nanase and Yuki deserve each other both beautiful outside, rotten inside.

If they become a couple, Nanase will keep her distance from Yuki because of her coming out scare problem.
That leads Yuki to psychopath jealousy mode.

Then they both burn from inside out. I 100% sure their love relationship isnt end well 🤣

Emi just didn't understand her sexuality and had trouble with social cues, in no way was she a hostile possessive & manipulative bitch like Yuki is.

There was never a world where Yuki would be well-adjusted.
No one in this title is, though the length of their laundry list of issues does vary.

I just figured she'd be jealous of Nanase being with anyone but her, but I'd hoped she wouldn't deny her own sexuality like this. But I'm here for it, because the potential of her being closeted like this and aggressively in-denial about it, means that any relationship between her and Nanase could end up hurting Nanase, and that feels poetic after Yuki's been responsible for more than one mess in her bestie's life.
