Maybe it's just me but I thought that the best (only?) reason for using this technology would be because you're unhappy living in your birth sex/gender. While the Mangaka thinks that it would be used be people who have fallen in love with someone of the same sex/gender or that they want a potential career as a professional baseball player. Needless to say in the real world you wouldn't get very far trying to change sex/gender for those reasons...

Having said that the artwork was good and I liked the characters even if they acted as if they were 12/13 rather than 17/18 they were meant to be.
