This gives me Jitsu wa vibes.
The only thing I’m not liking is that he is sort of keeping her from telling her secret by portraying it as a bad thing. I’m sure her friends would all accept it eventually, unless she is a one of a kind creature in the world and like he said she would be a test specimen of sorts.

I really hope it doesn't go the route of Jitsu wa. I had to give that up at a certain point. The heartbreak was real. If you like the secret keeper theme I reccomend checking you Ichijou-San Wa Kao Ni Deyasui

Kaiju Girl Caramelizer is similar to all of these and it's an excellent managa, although the MC is a Godzilla-like Kaiju rather than a dinosaur. It's also got an official translation if you want to support the author.

Ok I gotta admit, I sympathize with our boy. If I saw my favorite dinosaur I'd likely freeze up and watch it... even if it means I'd soon be receiving a Thagomizer/Club to my personage... Or just be swallowed whole by the largest aquatic predator to ever swim the waters.
