Well, I guess addiction is still a bad thing. One of the test is merely to have self control in the presence of blood so addicted person can't even do that.

Isn't holding the urge usually harms the body? Well, three months aren't enough if the addiction is as bad as cigarettes or drugs... Heck, if it's similar, then they need professional help, not fellow ex-addicts as helper.
