Oh, I thought that the institute for childrens without magic was in the previous king era, but it seems like the princess father had made it, and MC was in it, seems weird his loving family sent him in a place like that but maybe they believed it was the best place, we have seen them, pretty naive group, and if the country sponsored the program they just believed it was good, maybe MC dad killed everybody and was cursed with misfortune from a dying bastard?
The timeline doesn't seem to match up though.
But from the info it seems that people without magic had a hero costitution, that made them tougher and stronger, the princess granfather was in a era that made them become people abandoned by god and then deserving to be mistreated, then her father tried to fix it, and with all that time passing still failed in changing much of anything.
Hints point at MC not being invincible from youth, when he was a kid he was normal and could be hurt, then the succubus kileld him with a truck and his father used some forbidden ritual to bring him back, he is not broken for the ritual but the mistreatment in the facility and some loss of memory.
What a messed up story, and I don't mean for the theme for what happened but it going from a thing to another liek a flipper ball, the novelist was really writing whatever.
