I can't read a damn thing in this manga but the imagery is pretty descriptive so I don't have a problem following along. This manga is pretty great besides the perverse chapters (unnecessary). I had no clue what the hell was going on with the sister. She went super creep real quick (no idea why). I'm glad it was a one off and the school friend too, although there were hints he had the hots for the sister so his reaction to her wasn't surprising, it was also a relief because I was worried for Michiru for a moment there. Though I think The Boy (ML - what's his name?) lost his only school friend because of that. Other then those scenes, everything else is great. Yea, even the wannabe super hero/mini body builder, that kid has serious problems (oh, the bath! Add that to the list). Fortunately, he gets his psycho tantrum ass handed to him. Dad's drunk reaction towards Michi I assumed was because he was protecting his son and the same with mom and trying to stop the blood sucking. Both are understandable.
I'm glad I started "reading" this after chapter 12 was up because I was able to complete "that arc" without a cliff-hanger.
Oh, another unnecessary, inappropriate and awkward scene was the mouth cleaning, that was a What The F moment. I even pictured him saying that, even though I'm sure that's not what he said. It hasn't happened again so I assumed she got lectured for it.
The only thing I'm unsure about is how long has Michi been with The Boy. First, I thought 5yrs because he seemed bigger/older but then the parents showed up, so that changed to 5 months and then 5 weeks because why would you leave your kids alone for 5 months? I'm still iffy on weeks but it's still plausible. I'm stuck with 5 because it was in the dialog. If it's days then she grew fast after the larval stage and then it slowed down. If some one could explain this to me, I would appreciate it.
