This chapter really exemplifies the thing I like most about this maga: the author does a really good job of balancing the dynamic between characters.
Like I think a lesser author would've just made Ronaldo a cool, aloof dude and Draluc a loser no one likes.
When really it's way funnier if Draluc is in some ways more socially adept than Ronaldo and can flex on him like this.
Another example is Ronaldo going
when someone (usually Draluc) is mean to John, and Draluc doing enough nice things for John to offset that meanness.
