Back then, Saint Lotus, the Great Spirit Lilac, and one other woman used to live peacefully together. But it looks like some serious problem happened that split the three of them apart and made them each go their own way. Now I wonder, will the MC defeat the Cardinal, or will he use his “lecture no jutsu” and turn him into a friend instead?

So I assume Lilac and Lotus left the dragon girl one day, likely related to the currently faceless woman, since the girl said "only the two of you return". The faceless woman was the one who the spirit(1) said to rest in the flower field "paradise", and obviously Fia is somehow related to the faceless woman, but their appearance is very different, so I still haven't figured how.

My guess is, Fia is the reincarnation of the faceless woman, I wanted to say the "spirit"(2) as in her "ghost" or "soul", but their appearance is too different, so reincarnation seems right. Next, her reincarnation is not normal reincarnation, possibly related to the suspicious staff due to someone wish or her will, so she became an object-bound "spirit"(3) and can't leave too far from the staff.

Note: There are three "spirit" here with different meanings.
1) The Race, Spirit Race;
2) A force or principle believed to animate living beings;
3) A being inhabiting or embodying a particular place or object.

There's definetly something fucky going on, but we cant be sure who, might even be a an unknown not-shown party: demons/angels.

Also is there a bit of "one piece" issue with the female character faces, is it just me or are they a bit too similar?

Cardinal (dragon girl) was very attached to the white haired girl, and Lilac/Lotus probably blame themselves for her disappearance/death, so they avoid dragon girl and each other to hide the truth from her.

I wonder what happened to Lotus's GF. Did she deage into Fia? Or did that spirit that watched them turn into Fia?

I wonder if the faceless woman is Eidelweiss, or if it's meant to be a fakeout. Their appearance is very similar, and the staff that Takeru finds with Fia looks like an upgraded version of Eidelweiss' as well. Fia herself resembling the Saintess of Takeru's past feels like another clue, and the fact that she was as important to that world as she was, to only seemingly vanish in the interim of Takeru's death/disappearance, has me grasping at every clue and hint as to what became of her.

Also the fact that I don't think we know how much time has passed (since timelines between worlds seem like they're not congruent), so who knows what all has been going on since he was executed. But I imagine the bigger mystery we're gearing up toward beyond this Lotus/Lilac fight is the ultimate fate of Eidelweiss, and answers as to what all has happened since the defeat of the last demon king.
Plus, it would seem that Lotus is on a timer of some sort. But, he and Lilac both care about Cardinal, clearly, as Lilac requested that Takeru "defeat" her, not "kill" her, and with the express purpose to save her. And Lotus was more containing Cardinal than trying to outright defeat or destroy her, and that flashback clearly shows that he cares about her dearly.

This really does feel like a long-spanning misunderstanding or miscommunication (or, perhaps, a withholding of information) that has spiraled out of control into long-standing enmities with new characters being introduced since the initial schism, and it'll be up to Takeru to try and bridge the gaps and bring them all together in some form of reconciliation.
And, given he was the original Messiah of this world, it's kinda his job in a sense, so.

Thanks for the TL.

Its also possible that the faceless woman is actually older Fia.
Aka., for some reason she was regressed to a child form and then sealed inside a specific region with a lot of her own memories either erased or sealed.

I'm halfway convinced Fia is related to/connected with Eidelweiss.
Character designing convention usually pairs like-characteristics with like-characters, so the similarities between them feel too pointed to be pure coincidence (I will accept purposeful red herring, though).

As I also stated, the staff being similar is another dot on the graph, so I'd be surprised if it ended up not being the case. Plus, the memory thing you mentioned also stays in play if they're actually the same person and/or soul, and we have already seen souls entering new bodies while retaining themselves (Takeru -> Takeru), so it's not unprecedented in the story itself for Eidelweiss to be enduring, albeit perhaps with some fuckery that's left her in a sealed/amnesia'd state (perhaps due to her ties with Takeru, who was executed by ambitious malicious human forces after he saved them all).

I definitely look forward to finding out how all of this is connected, as well as learning about what the timeline of this world has looked like since Takeru left it.
