Dude he probably knows when the shop appears and waste them? How is investing his souls in his core skills a waste or in any of his passive skills at all? And let's be honest the chance this author will properly utilize his trait is quite low if he was planning on utilizing it he would have let the mc get 30+ passive skills when he was the last time by a shop...

And what truly is dumb, is dying when you have 100+ souls unused... and come on without plot armor mc would have already lost his life because of the simple reason that he didn't use all his unused souls, so basically completely idiotic to use plot armor rather than using what is given to make it more believable...
So many girls wouldn't have lost their lifes...
