Separated for four years and neither of them will become interested in someone else in the meantime? I suppose it's possible. Oh, sure, they'll keep in touch via modern technology for a while, but as the days, weeks and months go by, they will be in contact less and less until one day they'll realize they haven't contacted each other in well over a month. The bonds that have held them together will slip away and they will become, once again, nothing more than strangers.

I don't want to stop Shuusei from following his dreams, but at the same time I want them to stay together for ever. Hopefully the next chapter clarifies everything and it some how works out. Of course Aoi is going to try and follow him to America, but I hope whatever happens they stay together and Shussei's family stays out of it. They are bad news and I know they are going to try and start drama as always.

@FredFriendly they can visit each other on breaks. It's not impossible to have a 4 year long distance relationship and especially common these days. But, dear god, it suuuucks to have long distance relationships for any time.
