The huge delivery of revelations of this series in the last chapters is amazing, so satisfying.

Keep the secrets for long time until the point the audience is tired, is a huge mistake of most writers.

And a good delivery of truth dont avoid the possiblity of a plot twist, false flags and other tricks to surprise (what probably is the case...)

Sensei is probably the most compassionate character I have read in any series so far. He literally spent thousands of years caring for these gems. Even with all these revelations, he was never once thought of betraying the gems even though the story was sort of alluding to it. It's actually an interesting twist. The "villain" wasn't really a villain at all.
