I can't really tell if it was meant to be bad, to parody the convoluted journey of serialization that second rate mangaka walk, or if it was just bad. Probably both.

Very meta! I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed. I rather liked the ending!

It's a fun read if you like messy stories.
If you seek a story built on solid ground with logical development, look elsewhere.

It was pretty entertaining but I guess getting axed doesn't help. Ending was disappointing after all that though.

The art style is shit, I want to ask if this manga is interesting but I don't trust anyone who think this manga is interesting if they like the art style so sigh

I like this one, short and rather bitter-sweet. While the ending feels off, the whole 'author wanting to do right by his own work' is fantastic.

I remember reading it when it was releasing.
It's a messy story, but there's a heart to it that I like.

Plus, it can be pretty funny, and has good meta commentary.

This guy really hated his editor lmao

Had a lot of potential to develop which is unfortunate. Still, I found it very enjoyable.

I agree that this manga can seem messy, but it is mostly intentionally made to be that way. It's made with imperfection as one of its main theme and it is self aware that the story itself (the rosario manga) wasn't great and or perfect by any means. I think it is rather well thought and there're a lot of heart and thought put into it. Granted there might be some things you can nitpick, i myself have found one or two issue in the story, which would've been great if it was properly explained rather than being left in the dark, but i don't think those part are overwhelmingly important towards the story. Example:
rose backstory of how she became a demon and why that saved lily. Or how haru or other character backstory wasn't properly explained and was put rather abruptly to move the story forward.
But in the big picture those things are not the main focus of they story. instead of how those settings came to be or not to be, the story focuses on how mc has to work around the past plots that he came up with to make his ideal ending. All the imperfections and how the rosario story was handled rather irresponsibly created the limitations and flaws/defect, but those flaws are fleshed out and integrated as part of the story which then the mc have to work around or find a way to fix. There were some things that are left out or not properly conveyed and It has its moments, up and downs, but almost everything has a reason why things are the way they. it doesn't really take itself seriously in the first half with all the repetitive cliche/gags and references like death note "keikaku", but it gets more serious along the way. I don't think this manga actually got axed. I think the pacing holds true to the story consistency.
It was foreshadowed that the rosario manga the mc made was at its wits end, And has not been doing well. The mc himself knows that and that's why he's trying to make the best ending, to put his manga to an end for good. That is part of the reason why this series is short and i think it is intentional for this series to be short. The rather abrupt ending isn't really that abrupt if you consider how unpopular rosario story is in that world, and how it has been in the 17th rank and probably went lower along the way. When a weekly series manga popularity reaches a certain low point its not rare to find them get axed and that it self is a plot point intentionally integrated in the story.
It's understandable the ending can be unsatisfactory given that there's no happy ending here, but i think it was wrapped up rather nicely, consistent and well thought.

Overall i think was a rather nice story. Not exactly unique with cliches intentionally used, but not necessarily unoriginal as well. It's the kind pf story where you can take a self reflection at the end and find motivation out of it to better yourself and to keep going on. Kind of compelling and memorable. If you pay attention to details and keep an open mind, i think you can find this manga quite interesting and enjoyable. If you'd rather have plain generic isekai where mc just Want to laze around with their slow, boring, and non meaningful life but somehow finds success with their plot armor and op abilities that was somehow given by incompetent gods making mistakes, then this isn't the manga for you.

i agree in general with the review before me and i want to add that this manga is seriously missing a tragedy tag....

gordian knot or eternal cunundrum type stories are always tragic because they cant be solved from within but at the same time only be fully percieved from within.
at the very least they need a forcefull breakthrough from within with care to solve and not destroy the whole thing
thus it needs to include death, ascension beyond a barrier or sacrifice to reach a conclusion.
