Latest Chapter No. (of the original language series)

I noticed the No. of chapters total can only be updated to the "Last chapter" was wondering if the series is ongoing this can be for latest chapter of the original series\language?

Not all manga translations are up to the current chapter that it is in, in the original language. I was wondering for ongoing series that the "last chapter" edit you get on the edit page can not add the "the end" tag on to the latest chapter.

Some series may be -
Fan = chapter 11 Original 13

and having something that could show that the fan translated is the latest chapter would be nice, since there is only on option to add the last chapter in the edit currently.
So basically leave it as "last chapter" but change how it frases the "the end" tag for ongoing series

Eg. of the "the end" https://mangadex.org/title/13318/dagashi-kashi
If i were to say the last chapter here was 120 https://mangadex.org/title/7139/one-punch-man it would say "the end" Instead of latest chapter.
