And here I were planning to make a sarcastic post about the image I initially got of one of those cat-sniffing girls in manga, and the visuals of how it would look when you don't hallucinate and see it from an objective narrators perspective (half expected it to be the punchline, a panel where we see them play with their panties as if they were cats)
Another great visual I had pop into my head, was when she were trying to spread catnip over her newly washed panties. Typical "suggestive fluid" trope right there.

I half expected it to be the kuudere's magic, where she was either some kind of witch doing it intentionally or just an emergent magic from being in love.
That whole "secretly a miko" twist was great, particularly after author had teased it when they talked about haunted apartments buildings
