I don't get his point. He's just being an ass. If she was close to him then I would understand since empty promises are annoying. But as a stranger its pointless getting upset over someone's way of showing kindness or gratitude. Doing something nice for someone doesn't excuse you also being an ass. Anyone that thinks that way is just entitled.
